Ujigami assisted this client by deploying its software across more than 2000 operators throughout the U.S. It allows these operators to use standard smartphones and tablets to digitally identify the good and bad parts while collecting data and the reasons for defects and their locations in real-time. This benefited the client and their end-customers, who could monitor the inspection process and access real-time information about defects, fallout rates, and other metrics. Ujigami’s real-time connectivity also enabled this client to move beyond inspection and expand into automated payroll and billing. By identifying which employees are working on which parts, the system provides accurate billing for the work completed. Accurate billing reduced the collections time and unpaid balances.
